The weather is realtively poor for spring. It is not too cold, but niether is it the warmest for spring. There is lots of wind, and it blizzards more than usual. The Clans are finding hunting mostly good, with enough large game to sustain them.
Polovark City is a brand new canine RPG where you have the ability to create you're very own canine. Pick a breed, you're Allie - or strive to live life on the streets as a stray. There are packs in the city, but you must be committed and follow you're alpha and pack, even through the darkest of times. Polovark doesn't just let the strays and packs run the streets; but domestics as well. Welcome to the Southlands!
Perhaps some of the most diverse and large cat-scented lands, the Southlands are located in—well—the south! This is only in contrast with other cat-settled lands, as the Southlands are in something like a temperate climate; both heavy snowfall and blistering heat waves are not uncommon. Then again, it all depends on where you choose to live...
GrassClan cats live on the open fields, enjoying the open air and windswept grass upon gently rolling hills. Fast and agile, these cats are kindly and reluctant to fight. This area tends to be dry, but the nutritious soil provides ground for many useful shrubs.
ForestClan cats live in a dense jungle of sorts. Trees create a thick canopy over everything, making the forest floor dark and damp. It rains often; a multitude of plants and large flowers grow within this area. A set of small mountains to the south are the only change in climate. These cats are hunters of the night, and terribly protective of their pride. ForestClan appears to have a very diverse set of cats.
DesertClan is surrounded by mountains, the borders further protected by a wide river. Both rolling hills of burning sand and bare patches of bedrock, spotted with clumps of dead grass, cover this terrain—mirages and sand traps halt any intruders. Like the land itself, the cats here are hardened to fit their climate; they have fragile tempers and have a lust for land and power. DesertClan is often the center of most conflicts.
MountainClan used to cover almost half of the Southlands, as they owned that small stretch of small, snow-capped hills across ForestClan. However, they have just recently been “reclaimed”; MountainClan has not changed, and is still the largest Clan in these lands. Strong and burly, these cats are masters of the cold. They laugh at blizzards and charge through snowdrifts in search of camouflaged prey. Much like DesertClan, MountainClan cats are prideful and easily insulted, though these felines show more of a playful side than anything else.
MoonClan holds all of the deceased cats; they roam the sky in a single, un-ranked Clan, able to foresee the future and tell it to special creatures on the earth below. An odd shrub that always blooms with berries grows in the lands directly north of GrassClan. Eating the berries allows cats to go into a trance, in which they can communicate with their ancestors.
Kittypets live past the giant Thunderpath in the southeast corner of MountainClan, behind the giant Redstone barrier that helps keep out the noise of the passing Twoleg monsters. The few Kittypets that manage to escape this wall rarely survive the trip around MountainClan to other areas. So many odd things lie outside the Clans—the vast sundown place is in the north, huge, rumbling mountains lie to the west, and barren shrublands devoid of water cover the south. Loners and Rouges are few in all of these lands; Kittypets appear to have the majority...
A massive power struggle is shifting. Whoever controls that spit of mountains by ForestClan controls the entire western portion of the Southlands—ForestClan appears unable to keep it protected, and DesertClan is leaping in to take it away. MountainClan lies in the distance, waiting to reclaim its land; GrassClan is trying to keep their noses out of this. But will their new, young Leader drag his own weakened Clan into the fighting in his attempt to help?
This site offers the ability to make your own cats, where you can join a Clan or choose to live alone off the land; from there, you can become a Medicine Cat, alone but able to help others, or a Warrior, in which you can either serve your Clan until retirement, break off and rebel against the others, or work your way up to the rank of Leader.
WS also gives members the chance to make pictures of their characters, even banners for those who choose to become Leader of a Clan; provided by the admin, of course. ^^

Stars vs Gems
With the New Prophecy came the move for ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, and ShadowClan. The earthly clans that follow StarClan had to abandon their old territories because of the pesky twolegs. Eventually, their warrior ancestors from Silverpelt lead them to here to make their new home. They found the new Moonpool and even a place for Gatherings. However, they soon realize that they are not the only clans here....
Four other clans that have the same names as precious stones already made their territory on this land while following their own ancestors from GemClan. GemClan watches down on EmeraldClan, RubyClan, SapphireClan, and AmethystClan from the Diamondpelt. They do not like these new strangers taking up some of their land...
Soon, feuds break out everywhere as StarClan's descendants try to set up a new life in the GemClan followers' home: ShadowClan versus AmethystClan, RiverClan against SapphireClan, WindClan opposing RubyClan, and ThunderClan rivaling EmeraldClan.
Will these two groups be able to make peace, or will they destroy the lands in an effort to drive off one another?
Will you join a side, or become a neutral loner or kittypet?

Gender: She-cat
Clan MoonClan
Position: Leader
Description: Rele is a beautiful snow leopard. She has thich fur that gets long at the end of her tail. She had bright blue eyes and a dark pink, almost black, nose. Her fur is a silvery white color and her spots are entirely black, no brown colorations. She has a long tail and long claws.
Personality: Rele is a nice leopard. She is stern though, and demands respect and loyalty. She is a respectable leopard though, whith a fair heart. She will listen and think before she acts. She is extremely smart, and a good problem solver. She tries to be fearless for her Clan, or at least keep that appearance. She has a cool head and doesn't get paniced easily. She does well under pressure and can keep calm.
History: Rele was once a rouge. The Searchers tried to get her to join them, knowing her quick mind would be a good benifit to their Clan. When she refused to join them their leaders threatened her. They said that if she didn't join them they would hunt her down and kill her. She stalked off bravely, and stumbled into MoonClan territory. She sought membership, but warned them of her pursuers. When the Searchers came to kill her they were beaten by the MoonClanners, including Rele.
RP Example: Rele looked around her. The Searchers surrounded her, menacing glares on their faces, maws open in hope of violence. Their orbs glowing with malice. "I will not join you." Rele lifted her head proudly, ignoring the snarls of hatred. "Fine, we will give you one days time to get away. Then we will start tracking you. If ever we find you, you will die." Rele couldn't see who had spoken, but she knew the voice, it was Salag, one of the Clan's leaders, the one who had wanted to mate her and now bore fresh scars from her claws and teeth. Rele snarled, then shouldered her way out of the circle. She stalked off, proud and defient.

The animals of this region are all of average size besides the snow leopards. The leopards are about the size of a stallion horse. They pose as quite a threat and are possibly more dangerous now than when they were in the legends.
Some of the animals in this region that are predators are nearly as big as the snow leopards though. They grow this big through survival because they need to be capable of protecting themselves from the leopards.
It is very rare, but some times prey animals like deer, elk, and moose also grow larger than average. When this happens though it is usually only with the smaller of the large prey animals like deer.
